Fortnite Ferrari 296 GTB

There are three weekly quests involving a Ferrari to complete in Week 7 of Fortnite Season 7, but before you do any of them, you’ll need to know where to find the new Ferrari 296 GTB.

Fortnite is no stranger to major crossovers, with characters from Marvel, Star Wars, DC Comics, and beyond having made cameos as wearable skins in the game. But this latest collaboration is something entirely different.

For the first time ever, a licensed car is coming to the Island. Players will be able to find and drive the new Ferrari 296 GTB around the Fortnite map, and there are some special quests to complete to mark its arrival in the game.

Below, you’ll find all the information you need to find an iconic red Ferrari on the Island and complete the three Ferrari quests, earning yourself plenty of XP in the process.

Where to find a Ferrari in Fortnite

The easiest way to get your hands on the new Ferrari 296 GTB is to head to Lazy Lake and check near the car dealership and the gas station for spawns. There’s a Ferrari Time Trial to complete here, too.

There are also two locations at Believer Beach (formerly Sweaty Sands) where the Ferrari might spawn. The first is near the gas station on the road leading west, and the second may appear in the east car park.

Keep in mind that vehicle spawns are often random in Fortnite, so it’s not guaranteed that you’ll be able to find a Ferrari at these locations every match. If you don’t find one, exit and try these locations again.

How long will the Ferrari be in Fortnite?

The Ferrari 296 GTB will be available to drive in Fortnite from July 22, 2021 until October 6, 2021.

For reference, the Ferrari has essentially replaced the previous Whiplash car. It has a higher boost speed, a different appearance, and is needed to complete specific quests, which we’ll detail below.

How to reach top speed in a Ferrari in Fortnite

Reaching top speed in a Ferrari shouldn’t be too difficult. In fact, the hardest part will probably be finding a Ferrari car in the first place (although it should be easy if you’ve followed our guide above).

Once you’ve located one, you’ll need to find a long stretch of road that will allow you to drive in a straight line for a while. Hit accelerate and don’t let go until a notification pops up telling you the quest is complete.

Don’t try and complete this challenge off-road, as the Ferrari will be much slower.

How to drive a Ferrari through the Storm

This challenge is pretty self-explanatory. Simply get into your Ferrari, and drive to the edge of the circle. Enter the Storm for a few seconds and then drive back inside quickly so you don’t lose too much health.

You should make sure you have enough health to last being in the Storm for a little while, and also make sure your Ferrari has enough fuel to drive away from the incoming Storm once the quest is completed.

How to complete Ferrari Time Trials in Fortnite

There are a few locations you can visit to complete the Ferrari Time Trials, but we’d recommend going to Lazy Lake. You should be able to find a Ferrari here, which will make completing this quest a lot quicker.

Once you’ve started the Time Trial, simply follow the arrows around the course and complete it within the given time limit. If you fail, you can always leave the match and try again next time.
