Popular Fortnite streamer Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney could hardly believe what he was seeing when another player landed near him in Risky Reels and exhibited some exceedingly strange behavior.

Sometimes, when something really fishy happens in-game, you need to take a second to try and digest what you just saw. Even then, the time you spend reflecting might just raise more questions rather than provide any answers.

Tfue, who has amassed millions of followers on Twitch and is regarded as one of the best Fortnite players on the planet, was subject to one such bemusing incident, leaving him and his tens of thousands of viewers lost for words.

During a December 6 stream, Tfue was playing a solo game of Fortnite when another player came parasailing in over the horizon, heading toward the cars parked in front of the Risky Reels movie screen. But as Turner lined up his reticle, the shots somehow didn’t connect.

“He’s lagging bro!” Tfue exclaimed. “What the f**k is that?” he asked aloud as the player disappeared momentarily from the pro’s sight before making their landing.

But, as the streamer constructed a ramp to get a better vantage point, he saw something even more bizarre.

Four copies of the player he tried to shoot, standing motionless on bales of hay in front of the big screen. Tfue took shots at all of them with no damage registering despite clearly hitting them, and one-by-one, the invincible copies disappeared, leaving the Fortnite pro with zero kills from the ordeal – but lots of questions.

Tfue’s mild confusion had turned into full-blown shock, as he sat silently with his mouth agape for a few seconds trying to comprehend what he just saw.

With no answers materializing, he briefly collected himself and moved on, as one can only do when you’ve still got a game to win.

Weird bugs and glitches are by no means uncommon, with casual and pro players discovering new and unique ones seemingly all the time. Epic Games are typically graded for how quickly they can identify, address, and resolve issues as they appear.

This isn’t even the first time in recent memory a weird bug like this has happened to Tfue, who benefitted from a shot not registering properly just a week prior to this occasion.

To Tfue and to anyone else who’s watched this strange moment, there are still lots of questions to be answered, particularly whether this was a bug or a glitch or a failed attempt at hacking. We’ll see whether it gets addressed or not when big changes come to Fortnite Chapter 2.
