Skydive through floating rings for Fortnite Week 7, Season 6 challenge

The week 7 challenges are upon us for Season 6 of Fortnite Battle Royale, and an old favorite makes an appearance once again, tasking you with Skydiving through floating rings, twenty of them to be exact.

Unlike some challenges, you don’t need to complete this challenge in a single match, which is good, because you almost certainly wouldn’t be able to.

As any Fortnite player will know, you enter the map through the battle bus, and then immediately skydive towards the island map, ready to take the victory royale.

This challenge aims to spruce up the receptiveness of this skydiving by adding something extra to think about, with floating rings dotted around the sky.

There are two types of rings, purple and blue. These colors show how high or low the rings are in the sky, which will allow you to see at a glance what to aim for to head through two in a single dive.

Purple rings are higher, while the blue rings are lower – and low enough that you should be able to guide your way to a blue one after hitting a purple one.

When diving, you simply want to aim for the center of the ring at all times. Don’t try to get fancy and aim for the outer edge, because you don’t want to accidentally miss it, and you also want to make sure that the game registers you went through it.

Earlier iterations of this challenge sometimes had issues where diving through a ring didn’t immediately register. Although this bug was later resolved, you still want to make sure your dive counted.
