Ninja left speechless after ‘broken’ Drum Gun glitch makes weapon useless

To give back to long time fans of Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic Games announced that they would be unvaulting one old weapon of players’ choosing and returning it to active play.

The fans had the power to vote in-game for which weapon they wanted to see return from ‘The Vault’ and the Drum Gun came out as the clear favorite.

The Drum Gun was brought back to Fortnite Battle Royale during the Unvaulting Event.

After its return to active play, it appears that it still has some of the issues that got it vaulted in the first place, with many, including Ninja himself, deeming it as overpowered when it returned and many others noticed a bug with the gun, causing it to fail to fire completely.

Ninja experienced this bug first hand on stream while playing Duo’s with fellow streamer DrLupo and was left stunned at what happened to him.

During the battle with an enemy player, Ninja switched to his Drum Gun and attempted to start firing at the other player, however, the bug prevented him from doing so and he was forced to try to build for safety, to no avail.

Ninja initially thought that he might have forgotten to reload the Drum Gun and figured that was the reason for his death, although during the clip it clearly indicates he had 50 bullets reloaded already.

Many players are calling for Epic Games to either vault the Drum Gun once again or update the weapon so it is properly balanced and free from bugs and glitches.

Epic did nerf the weapon significantly in the v9.10 update, but it clearly hasn’t solved all the issues.
