NICKMERCS explains why the Pump Shotgun is the worst gun in Fortnite
FaZe clan / Epic GamesTwitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has explained why he thinks Fortnite’s Pump Shotgun is the worst weapon in the game.
NICKMERCS is one of the biggest Twitch streamers out there and certainly a well-known name in the Fortnite world. He regularly broadcast the game and isn’t afraid to share his opinions about it, this time slamming one of the weapons.
Now, Nick has set his sights on the Pump Shotgun, calling it the worst gun in the game after a very unsuccessful attempt at getting a close-range kill with it.

During a stream on Feb 29, Kolcheff got into a tough close-range battle and managed to land a clean hit with the Pump, although it barely scratched his opponent and he was quickly eliminated from the game.
“I might never pick up a gray Pump Shotgun ever again” Nick began, before explaining his thoughts on the weapon. “I would rather use a gray pistol, I’m done with it, I can’t stand it… if I have a Tactical Shotgun then he’s dead.”
“The gray Pump is so bad. I hit him in the head for 47, point-blank… I’m never picking up a gray pump, ever again, mark my words. I’ll use my pickaxe before I pick it up.”

NICKMERCS was understandably frustrated at the weapon. It is a shotgun after all and it barely did any damage from point-blank range – a situation in which it should excel.
He’ll likely stick to his word and never use it again, especially as he’s a fan of the Tactical alternative and both weapons are not too hard to come by.
Although, if he does try and use it again, his chat likely won’t let him forget what he said.
