The owner of 100 Thieves, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, spoke to Dexerto after competing in the Fortnite Pro-Am tournament at E3.

The Pro-Am Celebrity Tournament took place on June 12th and gave away a total of $3,000,000 in prize money to the charities of choice for the competing duos.

Somewhat fittingly, it was the face of Fortnite Battle Royale, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, that eventually came out on top along with the music producer and DJ known as Marshmello.

Other notable names that competed included TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani, OpTic Gaming’s Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, who finished in second place, Ali-A, and Nadeshot.

Nadeshot was playing with the UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and had some moments of brilliance but ultimately finished outside of the top 10 after being eliminated by fellow 100 Thieves star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff in the final game.

Speaking to Dexerto after the conclusion of the competition, Nadeshot discussed how it felt to die to at the hands of NICKMERCS, how much he had enjoyed the event, and how killing the solo winner, NoahJ456, in the final duo game makes him the real solo champion.

Nadeshot has made it clear in recent months that he is enjoying Fortnite Battle Royale a great deal and 100 Thieves even announced their new professional Fortnite team on June 9th.

The Pro-Am tournament was a huge success and once again proved that Fortnite is here to stay for the foreseeable future.
