Leaked Names of Skins and Cosmetics Found in Fortnite’s V5.2 Files

Dataminers at XDA Developers have leaked the names of a number of new Fortnite skins and cosmetics that they have discovered in the 5.2 patch files.

The leakers have gained access to the installer APK file for the Android version of Fortnite Battle Royale (which has not yet been released) and found a great deal of information in the process.

The V5.2 patch is expected to be released on August 7 and it looks like it will come with a wide variety of new skins and cosmetics.

Unfortunately, there are currently no images of the cosmetics. XDA explained that this is due to Fortnite’s Android release using a new compression method that their tools cannot currently access:

“We were, unfortunately, unable to get renders of these skins and items because Fortnite Mobile on Android is using a new compression method on the assets which current tools don’t support. Attempting to pull these files with current tools causes the viewer will crash. When the update goes live, probably on Tuesday, more experienced data-miners will be able to pull more data and hopefully images on everything new.”

The new cosmetics will include various outfits/skins, some new gliders, pickaxes and back bling, and a number of new emotes.
