The latest update for Fortnite Battle Royale, patch v10.20, dropped on Tuesday, August 27, and data miners instantly got to work digging up unreleased skins and cosmetics from the game files.

The update added a new shield bubble item, as well as bringing a major nerf to BRUTE mech (finally).

There were also more map changes, as there have been with every update so far in Season X, this time seeing Paradise Palms turned into the Pandora Rift Zone by yet another Rift Beacon.

The new map location is unlike anything that’s been seen before, and when inside the zone, players will receive shield after four seconds if not taking damage.

And some of the new skins and items that have been added are also unlike anything we’ve seen before, and we know this thanks to leakers FNBRHQ and VastBlastt.

These new skins appear to be part of the Borderlands crossover, which has come to Fortnite to promote the launch of Borderlands 3, releasing on September 13.

The main cover art character is also going to be a playable skin, leaked by XTigerHyperX and FortTory.
