Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 is out now, and Lachlan is a huge fan of all of the changes so far – especially the new Drum Gun.

The start of Season 2 on February 20 saw a couple of new map changes, with the most major of them all being the center island becoming The Agency.

This new location is loaded up with Henchmen who drop keycards after being eliminated which can then be used to open chests and vaults.

Mida's Drum Gun, a new and powerful weapon, can also be found here and it can completely shift the tide of a match.

Lachlan managed to get his hands on one, and quickly fell in love with its strength.

"Like, it is actually broken, and I love it," he said after eliminating a couple of players with the new gun.

Fellow Fortnite streamer Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins also had a similar reaction about this gun, calling it "disgusting" and apologizing for its existence after wiping out an enemy player.

Lachlan goes on to explain that he's a big fan of everything Epic did with this new season, which is a nice change of pace from how many players felt about the game in the not so distant past. He's particularly wondering how the new Drum Gun is going to work in a competitive setting.

"These new, like, power items are gonna be so interesting, especially from a competitive standpoint," he said. "Drum Gun's gonna be good, but there's a grapple and I think there's a Heavy Sniper."

With the exception of those concerns, it sounds like things are going great for him so far in the new season.

There will continue to be plenty of content coming in Season 2.

"Insane," the YouTuber explained. "Love what they've done here, and I can't wait to play more of it."

The start of a season is also just the beginning for Epic Games and players will surely expect more content coming soon in Fortnite, perhaps as early as next week.
