How to unlock free Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass with Overtime Challenges
Season 8 is just around the corner in Fortnite, and Epic Games are gearing up for another big transition. To celebrate, they’re giving players the opportunity to get the Season 8 battle pass for free.

The battle pass is Fortnite’s own progression system, and gives players access to a new set of cosmetic items, challenges and more, which you can earn throughout the season.
If you are big Fortnite fan, the battle pass is definitely something you will be keen to have, as it improves the overall experience, but it will typically set you back around $10.

The ShareTheLove event is here to end Season 7.Incredibly, Epic has revealed in the v7.40 update, that players can get the Season 8 battle pass completely for free – simply by completing the new Overtime challenges.
To end Season 7, which has been extended by a couple of weeks due to the holiday season, the Overtime challenges will replace the standard weekly challenges.
Everyone who completes 13 free Overtime Challenges by February 27 will receive the upcoming Season 8 Battle Pass for FREE! If you don’t have an outfit, now is your chance to get several for free. With the Battle Pass, you’ll receive two Season 8 Outfits instantly and you can earn up to five more. Save your V-Bucks, this one’s on us!
These new Overtime Challenges are completely free to access, but you will need to complete them by February 27 if you want to be rewarded with the free Season 8 battle pass.

The first Overtime Challenges have been unveiled.There are three challenges which are only available to owners of the Season 7 battle pass, but they simply require to hit certain levels.

- Reach Battle Pass Tier 47
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 71
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 87
Free Challenges
- Collect (15) Coins in Featured Creative Islands – 500 XP
- Search (7) chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV Park – 500 XP
- Place Top 15 in Duos with a friend (3 times) – Valentine Wrap
