Fortnite Battle Royale players have been tasked with a wide variety of different quests in the past, whether it’s eliminating enemies in certain locations or interacting with new features, but the highest points of the map will have to be conquered in Week 6, Season 8’s challenges.

Data miners initially leaked the next set of Fortnite challenges that people will soon have to grind through and now the new list has been announced by Epic Games. Players are going to have to visit the five highest elevations on the island.

As many players will already be aware, these high spots are scattered right across the map, with some sitting closer to others. So, let’s take a look at where you’re going to have to visit this week…

What are the five highest elevations on the Fortnite island?

We have assembled a quick and easy map that you can follow to locate each of the five highest points as quick as possible.

Here’s the top five highest elevation points in Fortnite, to help complete the Week 6, Season 8 challenge.

As seen in the graphic above, the highest locations can be found in the west, southwest and northeast sections of the map.

One of the more obvious high locations is the brand new volcano point of interest, which was added at the beginning of Season 8 on February 28, 2019, but other Fortnite destinations include: Polar Peak, a smaller peak near Frosty Flights, as well as two mountain tops between Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park.

Epic GamesPolar Peak is one of the highest elevations in Fortnite Battle Royale and you’ll need to visit there to complete Week 6, Season 8’s challenges.

Visit the 5 highest elevations on the island: Step-by-step guide

This is one of the three free challenges for Week 6, Season 8. Based on where you’re going to need to go, here’s the easiest way to reach all five.

  1. Make a note of the locations you need to visit and keep a lookout for wooden signs at each.
  2. First, land on top of the highest castle Polar Peak.
  3. Use ziplines to travel across to the next peak in the snow biome and stand at the tallest point.
  4. Travel in the direction of Pleasant Park and build ramps to reach one of the two mountain tops.
  5. Move to the other peak using ziplines, a Rift-To-Go or a nearby Quadcrasher.
  6. Travel towards the top of the Volcano to complete the challenge.
EPIC GAMESThe very top of the volcano is one of the highest points in Fortnite Battle Royale.

These instructions are, of course, in an ideal world where you don’t run into other enemy players. However, it’s worth noting that you don’t have to visit all of them in the same session.

If this proves to difficult a task to do all at once, simply drop at each location one by one every time a new game starts and complete the challenge that way, instead.

What exactly are we looking for at Fortnite’s elevations?

In order to register that you have visited these places, you’re going to need to find and stand next to the small wooden sign that says how high the location is from the floor. Examples of this can be found below, but they’re very easy to find once you’re at the very top of each place.

So, there you have it. We hope that our quick and easy guide allows you to make easy work of this challenges and we’ll be posting a few more guides to help you with others from Week 6, Season 8.

Good luck!

Huge Fortnite Season 5 leaks have revealed the next major update will be a crossover with Star Wars and The Mandalorian, featuring Baby Yoda.

The update is expected to land at the end of November, with Epic Games continuing their relationship with Disney. Previous seasons have been all about Marvel, and following on from the success of The Mandalorian Season 2, it looks like the game is set to strike while the iron is hot on the hype.

On November 24, within the week the patch is expected to roll out, leakers ShiinaBR and others are reporting the crossover is imminent.

First of all, the dataminer tweeted: “So the next Battle Pass is Star Wars themed?? Both the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda will be a part of it!”

This very quickly caught the attention of fans, before later posting a leaked image of the Battle Pass advertising.

As seen below, there is an image of Fortnite skins – spearheaded by the Mandalorian – and to his side you can see little Baby Yoda, which will presumably be a Back Bling in the next major update.

Fortnite Crew will be a paid subscription service each month.

A first look at the new Fortnite Crew subscription service has also been revealed ahead of schedule.

There are reports that this will be a monthly subscription service to the game, which will land players a select amount of V-Bucks per month, the Battle Pass for each season, and new skin packs to open with cosmetics and outfits inside.

Presumably, that will roll out alongside the next major update. According to website Indigo Pearl, it will cost £9.99 / $9.99 per month and will including the following.

  • Battle Pass
  • 1,000 V-Bucks each month
  • New Monthly Crew Pack!

Once we have more information confirmed by the developers, we’ll be the first to let you know. It looks like it’s going to be a big season for the game, following on from Season 4 which was all about the Avengers and ultimately – Galactus as well.
