The new set of challenges went live on Thursday, January 31, with many feeling that this week’s are slightly easier than usual thanks to only one challenge requiring players to eliminate opponents.

For owners of the Fortnite Battle Pass, one of the challenges will test your skills as a pilot, as you’ll have to hop into one of the X-4 Stormwing planes and complete two time trials.

Players who want to take on the test of speed and skill will first need to find themselves an X-4 Stormwing, which can be found in a number of locations around the map, including Frosty Flights and beside Paradise Palms.

Then, you’ll need to soar into the sky and search for the time trial locations, with a number of different trials appearing across the island. This handy map will show you a number of them which can be used to complete the challenge.

Once you have found one of these time trial symbols, fly your plane through it which will signal the start of the trial, and then fly your X4 Stormwing through each marker before the time runs out.

Players who complete two time trials will be rewarded with 10 Battle Stars, but make sure you finish the match you complete a trial in until the end, as quitting before you do will cause you to lose your time.

Forntite’s Week 9 challenges also asks players to pop 10 golden balloons, and to dance on three different locations around the map. If you’re struggling to complete this weeks tasks, you can use our handy Season 7 Week 9 challenges guide.
