Fortnite Season 8 is now into its sixth week, and a host of new challenges are here, including one where players need to search where the knife points on the Treasure Map loading screen.
The sixth week of Season 8 brought the v8.20 Content Update, which included the release of the game’s newest weapon, the Boom Bow.
Also included in Week 6 are brand new Fortnite challenges, including the weekly Discovery challenge where players will have to search for a hidden banner, eliminations with the Boom Bow, and another challenge that requires players to visit the highest points on the map.
One of the seven weekly challenges released by Epic Games requires Fortnite fans to do some detective work.
Released at the start of Season 8, players received a brand new loading screen that shows a treasure map, with areas on the actual map appearing on the parchment.
What Fortnite fans need to do to complete this challenge is find the loading screen, and take a look at the items that sit on top of it, specifically the knife. Where the tip of the blade points on the treasure map is where Fortnite fans will need to go to complete this challenge.
Unlike the first time the treasure map loading screen was used in a challenge, players won’t be heading to Polar Peak, but rather will be going east to complete this task.
The knife can be seen in the top right corner of the loading screen, pointing to an area on the eastern coastline of the Fortnite island.
The tip of the blade actually rests on a clump of trees that sits directly between Lonely Lodge and the racetrack.
If you’re still having issues completing this challenge, YouTuber TamashaBera has uploaded a tutorial that will show you how to get there.
