Fortnite v9.41 Content Update patch notes – Storm Scout Sniper Rifle, Birthday Presents, Cake item, and more
Epic Games have released the final patch for their popular battle royale game before the Fortnite v9.41 Content Update gives the developers one final opportunity to make some last minute tweaks to the game ahead of the biggest tournament in the game’s history, which kicks off on Friday, July 26 boasting a $30 million prize pool.
Players will get their hands on a brand new weapon with the v9.41 Content Update, alongside a number of special items to celebrate the game’s birthday.

Storm Scout Sniper Rifle
The headline addition to Fortnite in the v9.41 Content Update is the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle which comes in two different rarities, Epic and Legendary.
The weapon includes a special scope that has yet to bee seen in the game, with a small minimap appearing in the bottom left corner of the screen when scoped in with the rifle, while also making players aware of the direction from which the storm is coming, so they won’t be caught out when trying to pick off opponents.
The Epic version of the rifle will deal 81 damage-per-shot, while the Legendary versions packs a bigger punch with 85 damage handed out every time a bullet connects with an enemy.

Birthday Cake and Presents
Epic have also added a number of new items to celebrate the game’s second birthday, including Birthday Cakes and Presents, which will give you a helping hand as you search for victory royales.
Presents will include loot that can be used to give you an advantage over your enemies, while Cake will grant five health and shield when consumed. These items won’t be included in Arena or Tournament playlists, and are only available in the game’s base modes.
