A fan of Fortnite has designed a new concept that functions similar to the Campfire, except the item would restore shield instead of health.
Known as the Shield Shower, the new item would give two shield for every second that you stand under it, up to a maximum of 50.
The Campfire works the same way, healing players at a rate of two HP per second and it lasts for 25 seconds.
One commenter even suggested the shower can be balanced by putting out a Campfire if a player attempts to use both at the same time.
Epic has a history of listening to player feedback and ideas on new concepts, so it is not out of the question to see something like the Shower Shield implemented in a future patch.
The idea of a shield equivalent to the Campfire mechanic has been around for a long time in the Fortnite community and something similar may already be in development. A past redditor had the same shield concept with a kiddie pool instead of a shower.
Fortnite pro Nate Hill also has a suggestion for Epic and it is related to the lack of ranking system for their esport events, he thinks they could take a hint from how professional golf works.
Epic has also been busy correcting accidental bans, issuing apologies and handing out V-bucks to accounts that were effected by the mistakes.
