Some of the best Fortnite players in the world have descended on Katowice for their shot at the hefty $500,000 prize pool – which is split into solo and duo events.

However, a number of pros have been left puzzled by a small rule in the ruleset that won’t allow them to dress how they want – but instead, however the game decides.

Epic GamesPlayers won’t know which skins they’ll be using thanks to the small rule

LeStream Esport’s Swiss professional player Pierre ‘Vato’ Mesey revealed on Twitter that the players will have to play with the random skins option set in-game, instead of using their preferred look.

A rough translation of Vato’s tweet says: “We have to play with random skins. Ouch.” While the rule may seem tiny and not really needed, it could allow some teams to avoid being hunted down based solely on what skin they would usually use.

While Vato and his fellow pros might not be able to look just how they want in-game, there is still a hefty prize pool and the glory of winning a major tournament at stake.
