The lonely little house in the middle of Fortnite’s Loot Lake has been replaced by a giant floating island with a castle.

Fortnite’s Season 6 update has brought about some changes to the map, but nothing more interesting than the evolution of Loot Lake.

Rather than just a little house on a little island, players can find themselves battling it out on a giant floating island in the middle of the sky, with a giant vortex sat beneath the main structure.

The area had been the subject of much discussion following the giant purple cube, known as Kevin to the community, melting into Loot Lake just days before the start of Season 6.

The final outcome is certainly breathtaking, and streamers launched straight into the game in order to see what the new location looked like.

As expected, the majority of the server also wanted to check it out, and that meant Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop’s first game with NoahJ456 ended rather quickly after landing.

FaZe Clan’s Cizzorz had a different idea, and instead decided to jump off the edge and into the vortex underneath the island.
