First in-game footage of Fortnite’s new Spiky Stadium
The first videos of Fortnite’s all-new ‘Spiky Stadium’ item in action have started to surface online and it looks amazing.

The Limited Time Item is an exciting addition to the game that is available exclusively in the Playground mode and creates a pop-up sports stadium when activated.
The spiky Stadium is found with a large number of Impulse Grenades, is 7×11 in size and is full of Damage Traps and Bouncers as can be seen in the video below.

The Spiky Stadium was released as part of the V5.41 patch on September 18. Epic Games explained that they are “inspired by the amazing things you’ve been making within Playground,” and “cannot wait to see what you create as we continue to build out the future of creative mode in Fortnite.”

The stadium should provide players and creators with an excellent starting point for new mini games and competitions within the Playground mode, as postboxpat on YouTube explained:

The Playground mode has been one of the most popular additions to Fortnite since the game’s release as it allows players to challenge each other to 1 vs 1 showdowns, build incredible structures and invent mini games to keep each other entertained without the competitive edge of the standard battle royale mode.
The Spiky Stadium wasn’t the only item to be introduced in the V5.41 patch – the new ‘Port-a-Fortress’, which is a Legendary version of the Port-a-Fort was also added to the game.
The update files have also been raked through by data miners and a number of new skins and cosmetic items have been leaked online.
