FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was in disbelief after an untimely death in Fortnite Battle Royale as he explored Loot Lake’s upcoming rune event in the Baller vehicle.

As Season 8 draws to a close, there has been increasing speculation about the event that will end it, with much of the focus centering on Loot Lake after a mysterious vault appeared at the centre of it.

Epic Games tweeted on May 2 that they are aware and investigating issues with vehicles falling through Loot Lake, but Tfue clearly didn’t get the message. He was playing with his long-time duo partner Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, when he decided to pass through the centre of Loot Lake, with unexpectedly amusing results.

Epic Games stated they were investigating on May 2, but no fix has been implemented yet.

Tfue approaches the centre of Loot Lake laughing as the two rotate towards the next zone, before he begins to cross the vault-type entity. As he crosses it, his Baller sinks slightly into the surface and then bounces back up, before becoming entirely submerged and falling beneath the map, instantly killing Tfue.

Oh what the fuck!” exclaimed Tenney. “Bro, I just got - dude you die from going in there, did you know that? I’m so pissed. Did you know that? I just fell into the hollow floor. I hate this game.”

The hilarity continued after Cloak asked Tfue why he would do that. “What do you mean?” laughed Tfue. “There’s a fucking floor and I fell through it.”

His chat responded in an expected manner, as they proceeded to mock Tfue after his unfortunate death. Luckily, Tfue doesn’t seem too upset about the death and took it all in his stride.

Given the nature of the glitch, and with the World Cup qualifiers currently on-going, it is likely we will see Epic Games release a patch soon, potentially even with the release of Season 9.
