Epic Games’ website has crashed, and at the worst possible time, just moments before fans were eagerly awaiting patch notes for the big Fortnite Season X/Season 10 update.

Update: The full patch notes for Fortnite Season X are now available – check them out here!

Set to go live at 4 AM EST / 9 AM BST, fans of the popular battle royale game across the world were waiting with bated breath to see the patch notes in all their glory.

The new season is set to be one of the biggest changes to the game thus far, with major map updates, new mech suits and much, much more.

Epic GamesDusty Depot is set to make its return in Season 10.

However, when attempting to view the update details on Epic Games’ website, fans were left staring at a blank white screen, simply reading ‘internal server error.

It means the notes will be out after schedule, but shouldn’t prevent the update itself going live.

Perhaps for the first time, players will have to jump back in to Fortnite blind, and discover all the changes first hand, in-game.

Given the size of the update though, there is planned downtime period for the game, which could last up to four hours.

Hopefully Epic Games can solve their website issues before the downtime is over.
