Fans of Fortnite and the various Avengers film have been left disappointed after an Epic Games employee confirmed that the recent Infinity War crossover will not include other Characters.

After weeks of speculation about a possible superhero theme for Fortnite Battle Royale’s Season 4 of the Battle Pass, May 7th marked the day where some of it was confirmed.

While many people predicted some sort of DC Universe crossover, it looks like it will actually by Marvel that is making a deal with Fortnite following the announcement of the new “Thanos” crossover for the Infinity War film.

In layman’s terms, the crossover will see one “Infinity Guantlet” dropped on the map before every game of Fortnite Battle Royale and the person that finds it will get to turn into Thanos himself.

Of course, what got people really excited about this was the potential of further crossovers and outfits where players could choose to look like various other characters from the Avengers films.

Unfortunately that is looking unlikely as Epic Games employee Nathan Mooney revealed on Reddit:

“rq just because I’ve seen lots of folks asking, we have no plans for Avengers outfits in the store.”

This has left a lot of fans disappointed. However, just because there are “no plans” doesn’t mean it definitely won’t happen.
