Epic Games Announces When the Damage Trap Bug Will be Fixed in Fortnite
Multiple Fortnite: Battle Royale community members have reported that the Damage Trap has a major bug that needs to be fixed.
Since the release of the V.5.2.1 patch in Fortnite, Traps have experienced an issue where enemy players are not taking the correct amount of damage when in the correct radius.

Reddit user tsmithmv posted a video on the FortniteBR subreddit which puts the problem on display perfectly when they managed to enclose an enemy in a build and place a Trap down, however, no damage was dealt to the opposition.

Following the post, an Epic Games employee mentioned that it is an issue with the ‘damage volume’ of the Trap and that it will be fixed in the upcoming V.5.3 update.

The V.5.3 update is expected to come out sometime next week, however, it is unknown if Epic Games will potentially release the fix any sooner after community feedback.
