Epic Games Announces That ‘Rifts’ Will be Temporarily Disabled in Fortnite [UPDATED]

Epic Games has announced that Rifts have been re-enabled in Fortnite.
‘Rifts’ became a popular in-game means of transportation after they were added to Fortnite: Battle Royale at the beginning of Season 5.
On Friday, August 17, Epic Games announced that Rifts will be ‘temporarily disabled’ in the Battle Royale title after the developer found a ‘bug’ associated with them.

At the time of writing, Epic Games is still looking for a fix, and has not provided a timetable regarding when they will return.
