CouRage Provides a Behind the Scenes Look at the $3 Million Fortnite Pro-Am Tournament at E3

Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop of OpTic Gaming provided a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at the $3 million Fortnite: Battle Royale Pro-Am tournament at E3.

Hosted on Tuesday, June 12th, the Fortnite Pro-Am was the first official tournament put on by Epic Games, and took place at the Banc of California Stadium during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as ‘E3.’

The event featured 50 streamers paired up with 50 celebrities and included a prize pool of $3 million which was donated to a collection of different charitable organizations chosen by the winners.

One of the streamers included in the competition was CouRage, a member of the OpTic Gaming content team who made his name known throughout the gaming world as a commentator for competitive Call of Duty.

However, now as a full-time streamer, he has seen a massive increase in his audience and overall fan base, which allowed him to be chosen for the Pro-Am after a content creator was unable to make the event at the last second.

Yet, even as a last-second addition, CouRage managed to clutch-up when it mattered with a second place finish behind Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, which allowed him to win $500,000 for the charity of his choice.
