Combining a Boombox and X-4 Stormwing could create Fortnite’s most powerful weapon

Just when you thought that planes in Fortnite were getting nerfed, adding a Boombox to your X-4 Stormwing could make them more destructive then ever.

Epic Games added the Boombox just before the first round of Fortnite’s WSOE 3 event with a v7.10 #2 content update and one player is already weary of the terrifying combination of the X-4 Stormwing and the new item.

By placing a Boombox on top of the X-4 Stormwing plane, the pilot will be able to keep it – and its power – on board and use it to tear threw materials like it did in the past.

The clip below, which was posted to Reddit by user ilIuminated, shows that the Boombox can be attached to the attack plane very easily during a demonstration on the game’s Creative mode. 

“Just posting this here so it becomes meta and everyone rages at it, and they remove it” the user said.

Epic has been trying to reduce the power of attack planes in Fortnite Battle Royale since they were added to the game at the beginning of Season 7, with recent patches ensuring that the pilot and those on board take damage when the vehicle explodes in the air.

Also, the planes now take up to 50% more damage when they crash into buildings, following the v7.10 patch.
