Popular Fortnite YouTuber Alistair ‘Ali-A’ Aiken has shared another theory hinting at the possible map flooding event to end the first season of Chapter 2.

Following the spectacular “The End” event to close out the first chapter of the Fortnite universe, players have been looking forward to what’s to come in the next stage of the game.

As Season 1 of the new chapter is coming to a close, many fans of the battle royale have been coming up with new theories as to how Epic Games will ramp up the hype for yet another season.

Fortnite’s map could be flooded in Chapter 2, Season 2.

Fortnite YouTuber Ali-A shared one of those theories, suggesting that the Fortnite map that many fans are starting to get used to (and maybe a little bored of), could be flooded as part of the end of season event.

Following some of the teasers hinting at King Midas from Greek Mythology making an appearance, with gold items spotted on the map, Ali-A claimed that Poseidon, God of the Sea, could also play a massive part in the new season.

He expressed that it was possible that the end of season event could be caused by the introduction of a possible second Greek god, coming up with ideas on how it would be executed.

“An idea I had was a big wave coming over the island, not only causing a lot of destruction and a lot of damage to the map,” Ali-A explained, “the funny thing is that could actually be happening in a slightly different way.”

The popular YouTuber then went on to explain another teaser which was found on February 11, highlighting that one of the map’s points of interest even spelled out “Noah” from a birds-eye view, making it even more likely that a recreation of the classic biblical story could be on the cards.

The “Noah” teaser is among the few hinting at a flood event to end Season 1.

It is unclear if the potential event will result in the map staying flooded for the start of the new season, although if the event does take place, there will be some significant changes to the map regardless.

Fans of the popular battle royale will not have too much longer to wait, as Season 1 of Chapter 2 finally comes to a close on February 20.
