Yet another major leak to come from the August 23 Fortnite update suggests that a Suppressed Assault Rifle will be added to the Battle Royale version of the game soon.

According to a report from Fortnite Intel, and a Twitter post from the leaking account known as @sud4nym, a Suppressed Assault Rifle is now present in the Battle Royale game files.

The weapon can also now be found on Storm Shield One, one of the most comprehensive Fortnite databases, in Epic and Legendary Variants.

It is believed that the image used for the Suppressed Assault Rifle on Storm Shield One is a placeholder, but we have included it below just in case.

The image used by @su4nym looks more like an Epic or Legendary Assault Rifle (Scar) with a suppresser attached but, again, we are unsure whether this is simply a concept.

It looks like the Suppressed Assault Rifle will be a burst fire weapon, with the current description reading:

“Assault Weapon: Burst. An assault rifle that fires tight bursts that allow for precise targeting in mobile mid-range engagements. Deals good damage, but consumes its magazine very quickly.”

Below you can find the current statistics for the Legendary variant of the Suppressed Assault Rifle according to Storm Shield One.
