Manchester City icon Sergio Aguero has revealed his own FIFA 20 Ultimate Team starting lineup – and it has plenty of Argentinian flavor to it.

Since joining Manchester City from Atletico Madrid back in 2011, Sergio Aguero his cemented himself in both the Citizens and Premier League history books. His last minuter winning goal over QPR during the 2011/12 season will, forever, be remembered as one of the greatest footballing moments.

In nine seasons, the 31-year-old Argentine forward has netted 254 goals for City, winning four Premier League titles, one FA Cup final, five League Cup’s – as well as being the league’s top scorer on one occasion. Yet, when it comes to FIFA, there aren’t many spots for his club teammates. That honor goes to his fellow countrymen.

Aguero had been streaming his FUT Champs Weekend League games on Friday, April 23 when he revealed his lineup. However, unlike his fellow pros, a 99-rated custom pro player card was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, Aguero opted for Ronaldo upfront over his own card, with the Brazilian being supported by Messi, Dybala, and Diego Maradona. The Brazilian icon, however, is one of only two non-Argentine players in Aguero’s lineup. That other spot goes to Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk – with whom, the City forward has had many a battle.

Aguero’s choices of Gomez and De Paul in the heart of midfield may raise a few eyebrows, especially as they aren’t quite on the level of some of his other picks.

However, it’s clear that he is representing his home nation with some pride. Though, who knows, when he next decides to go live on Twitch, Aguero might a few changes in store. We’ll just have to wait and see.
