Stadiums are often overlooked when it comes to FIFA games, particularly within the Ultimate Team game mode. Many users will select a stadium early on and generally stick with that throughout the FUT year. Perhaps a key reason behind this is that we lack a variety of interesting football grounds.

With the release of FIFA 20 on the horizon, we expect to see a number of new stadiums feature in this year’s title, many of which could be rather exciting. Check out which football grounds have been confirmed for FIFA 20, as well as an updated wishlist thanks to popular FIFA YouTuber ZAN OMG.

FIFA 21 players are never happy when the EA servers are down, and it appears that the latest offering of the popular football franchise is struggling with issues on December 3, with widespread reports from players unable to find games in Ultimate Team.

With next-gen consoles finally jumping onboard the FIFA 21 hype train, the servers were expected to struggle. Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 players got access to the next-gen game on December 3, with all-new graphics and big performance boosts.

As always though, there are a few teething problems with the online services with so many players trying to hop onto the game at once, and it appears that on the same day, many were unable to gain access to FIFA 21’s online capabilities.

So, let’s take a look at the latest update on connectivity issues.

Are EA servers down for FIFA 21?

December 3, 2020

The FIFA 21 servers have been struggling with the increased load from next-gen consoles. While players have noted they were struggling to log in, the FIFA Direct Communication Twitter has reported a new issue with matchmaking.

“We are aware that players are currently unable to matchmake in FIFA 21 FUT, across all platforms. We are investigating and will provide an update when one is available,” they said.

It’s not just next-gen players who are affected, but players across all platforms, regardless of whether you’re on the older consoles, or even PC.

The outage has been going on since around 7:30pm ET, although its still spiking hours later, according to Down Detector.

The site confirms there are reported “issues” with EA’s servers, as expected, meaning players are unable to play FIFA Ultimate Team and their Division Rivals matches.

EA has yet to comment on how long this outage will last, but hopefully, it wraps up before too long. We’ll keep you posted with updates to this article in due course.
