FIFA 20 Shapeshifters Team 2 predictions

EA SPORTS are on the brink of releasing a second team of Shapeshifter cards for FIFA 20 Ultimate Team and with big things expected, we’ve laid out our own predictions for some that could be included this time around.

For those who aren’t aware, these Shapeshifter cards offer a boost in stats for selected cards and also change the position of the player. For example, somebody like Lucas Moura – who has a base CF card this year – was moved to RM with a Shapeshifter card.

The first XI of these special cards were added to this year’s installment on February 21, with the likes of Marcelo, David Luiz, and Lionel Messi given position changes, meaning that players can now play them in slightly different roles in their sides.

A few top players made their way into Team 1 of FIFA 20 Ultimate Team’s Shapeshifters. Who will be in Team 2?

FIFA 20 Shapeshifters Team 2 Predictions

This part is where things get interesting, though, as we’re about to predict the cards EA SPORTS will select on February 28 to give an upgrade and new position.

There are a number of contenders to choose from, clearly, but remember that these predictions are exactly that – predictions – and may not be added to the game in a future update. Hopefully, a few of our estimates are correct! Let’s take a look.

  • David Alaba (85) LB > (88) CB
  • Eder Militao (81) CB > (87) RB
  • N’golo Kante (89) CDM > (92) CB
  • Fabinho (85) CDM > (89) CB
  • Cristiano Ronaldo (93) ST > (95) RW
  • Trent Alexander-Arnold (83) RB > (88) CM
  • Kyle Walker (84) RB > (88) GK
  • Richarlison (79) RM > (86) ST
  • Sergej Milinković-Savić (85) CM > (88) RB
  • Quincy Promes (82) LW > (86) ST
  • Sergio Ramos (89) CB > (90) ST
  • Serge Gnabry (84) RM > (88) LM
  • Adama Traore (74) RW > (86) CF
  • Florian Thauvin (83) RW > (86) CAM
  • Theo Hernandez (76) RB > (86) CB
Adama Traore has been key to Wolves’ Premier League success this season, but wasn’t happy with his base card. Will he get a Shapeshifter?

A few of these selections will catch the eye over others, particularly Kyle Walker moving to goalkeeper. After playing there once and not conceding a goal against Atalanta during a Champions League group stage fixture, following a red card for Claudio Bravo, this could be an interesting Shapeshifter option.

Others notable picks include Trent Alexander-Arnold moving to the midfield, which is something many pundits of the game have been discussing at length, as well as David Alaba, who we’re sure many players will want to have an actual CB position after enjoying tremendous success in the position this season, and others.

Three have already been teased, as many fans will know already, and if you would like to see that hint dropping loading screen click here. The second Shapeshifters team is expected on February 28 at 6PM (GMT).

Who do you think will get a FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Shapeshifter card in Team 2? There are loads of options out there to make predictions for, but this is the group we have selected for the next 15 players. Let us know your thoughts on Twitter by tweeting us @UltimateTeamUK.
