Players have been doing everything they can to play FIFA 20 before its release, testing the demo version and clamoring for the EA Access trial to go live, but if you're scouting out potential starter Ultimate Teams then the Ligue 1 could be a great place to start.
The top French division is the home for some of the best players around Europe and has been for many years due to the resurgence of Paris Saint Germain, who splashed out around $250 million to bring Brazilian forward Neymar Jr to the club in August 2017 and are always looking to match the quality of football's elite.
However, it's not only PSG players who dominate the top-rated player standings in the Ligue 1. In fact, there are a wide variety of high rated options, in terms of overall, who could be perfect additions to any player's Ultimate Team squads - or even serve as solid Career Mode signings.
With the likes of PSG, Monaco, Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais world-renowned football teams already, let's take a look at how much representation each of them have in the top-rated standings for FIFA 20 - courtesy of the Futwiz database.
In comparison to the top ratings of other major football leagues, including the Premier League, Serie A and even La Liga, there's no doubt that the average overall in the Ligue 1 is a little lower - particularly in midfield.
However, as seen with some of the incredible attacking and defensive player ratings, there's no doubt that an Ultimate Team featuring many of these players would be a force to be reckoned with. Just look at some of these attacking options.
The full FIFA 20 game will be officially released on September 24, but if you would like to get your hands on the title early, read more about the EA Access trial here.
