EA SPORTS reveal TOTW Moments plan after FIFA 20 TOTSSF launch

Team of the Weeks Moments has proven to be a popular addition to FIFA 20 Ultimate Team but the launch of TOTSSF has seen it rotated out. Here’s when it could be back.

As a substitute for no actual football being played, EA SPORTS introduced Team of the Week moments in the place of the usual Team of the Week. As a result, FIFA fans had a chance to get their hands on some classic TOTW cards that had received a nice little added boost.

Though, with the launch of Team of the Season So Far – EA’s replacement for the usual end-of-season Team of the Season promo – it looks as if Team of the Weeks Moments are also coming to end. However, there appears to be a catch on things.

TOTW Moments has given FIFA fans some high-rated cards.

Where is Team of the Week Moments 7 | TOTW 33?

In their content roadmap for Team of the Season So Far – or TOTSSF – the developers noted that there would be changes to the weekly moments cards – but you’d have had to look for it to see what they said.

EA noted at the very end of their roadmap that once the seventh TOTW Moments squad moves out of packs on Wednesday 29 April at 10 a.m. PST, FIFA will place TOTW Moments on hold during the Team of the Season So Far promo.

This means that the Team of the Week will no longer be announced at the usual time of 3 pm on a Wednesday afternoon, before going into packs at 6 pm. Though, that could change if football makes it return throughout the world.

Team of the Season Far is replacing FIFA’s usual TOTS promo.

With that looking increasingly unlikely – seeing as the French Ligue 1 and Dutch Eredivisie have canceled the remainder of their seasons – Team of the Week Moments is probably not making a return to FIFA 20. Though, EA says it’s on hold until June 10 anyway.

EA has announced that the usual TOTW cards you’d find in FUT Champs Weekend League rewards will be replaced by TOTSSF cards depending on what rank you end up in.
