2019 eChampions League Tournament Details

A brand new eChampions League FIFA esports tournament has been announced and is part of the EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series. Check out all the 2019 eChampions League tournament details below…

Eligible competitors will compete exclusively on PlayStation 4 and participate in eChampions League Global Online Knockout tournaments on March 2 and 3, 2019. The top 64 players will compete in a live qualifying event on April 26 and 27, 2019. This new esports event is another FIFA 19 Global Series Qualifier on the way to the FIFA eWorld Cup.

UEFA believe that the eChampions League will connect more football fans to the UEFA Champions League. The eight competitors that have advanced to the final will draft and use footballers involved in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.

The final of the eChampions League will take place a day before the UEFA Champions League final in Madrid on May 31, 2019. The prize pool for this brand new esports event is $280,000, with the winner receiving $100,000, as well as 850 EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series Points.

FIFA 19 Global Series Points are still up for grabs for the other competitors. The eChampions League is another global event on the Road to the 2019 FIFA eWorld Cup in July/August, which is why the FIFA 19 Global Series Points are so important. This event kicks off at the start of next month.
