The controversial Echo Fox investor who was previously accused of racism has issued a denial against claims that he had unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

On August 1, Kyle Fox, son of Echo Fox founder Rick Fox, tweeted out a screenshot of the supposed criminal history of Amit Raizada, a founding partner of Vision Venture Partners, a group that had invested money into the esports organization.

The screenshot implied Raizada had been charged for having committed unlawful sexual conduct with a minor back in 1996. The website indicates that the charges had been filed in 1997 in the state of Ohio, several months after the alleged offence had occurred.

It must be noted that the authenticity of this document was never verified, and there are no records on the case found at the Westerville courthouse itself.

The image was further thrust into the social media spotlight by Rick Fox via Twitter, who's been embroiled in a public feud with the investor for months after initially accusing him of being a racist

"Racism is one thing, but preying on children is something else entirely," he tweeted. "I'm horrified I didn't know this sooner. There are women in my life who have suffered from crimes like this. I am angry beyond relief."

Shortly after Fox's tweet began picking up steam, Raizada himself issued an official statement on Twitter denying that he was ever convicted of the crime, citing it as a "case of mistaken identity."

"This old charge was a case of mistaken identity," he tweeted. "As soon as I learned of it, the case was dismissed." Once again, Rick Fox and his family are distorting the truth in their deceitful campaign against me and the other shareholders of Echo Fox. Shame on them."

This is a developing story, and we will continue to bring you the latest information as it becomes available.
