Only a day after the popular Fortnite Showdown event, Twitch Rivals hosted some of the top League of Legends content creators to battle it out in a best-of-3 Rumble on the Rift series on September 28.

Yassuo and Tyler1, who often trade insults with each other over their stream quality, were chosen as captains for the all-star match-up with other popular streamers such as Pokimane, Trick2g and Shiphtur involved.

After the first game of the series had concluded, Yassuo and Tyler1 took another opportunity to trash talk the other with a post-game interview. “I always get the bragging rights at the end of the day so it’s just another dub for me,” expressed Yassuo.

The pair then went back and forth over who would close the series before Tyler1 eventually began to stare his fellow streamer down before the two hilariously exchanged in short grappling match for the fans while interviewer Ovilee May stood idly by.

Their scuffle did not last for too long, however, as the rival captains quickly returned to their setups eager to get the second game of the series underway.

The Rumble on the Rift came all the way down to a close third game, which ended dramatically with Team Yassuo pulling off an incredible comeback to clinch the win and their share of the $20,000.

Unfortunately for Tyler1 and his all-star squad they fell short, however, with TwitchCon 2020 returning to San Diego again next year it is possible that Tyler will get his chance for revenge next year at Twitch Rivals.
