Félix ‘Overwatch, the streamer has ventured into variety streaming, broadcasting a number of different games to his massive audience who love to see the hilarious moments that take place during his stream.

Unfortunately for Lengyel, it was a member of his audience who managed to grab a key for Dead Space 2 away from the streamer.

During his Thursday, February 21 stream, Lengyel decided to try out Dead Space 2, a survival horror which sees players battle reanimated human corpses on a space station near Saturn.

As the game opened for the first time, a notification from Steam opened on the bottom right hand corner of the stream, instructing the Canadian that he would have to enter a product key to activate the game.

Unfortunately, xQc didn’t notice this box until it was too late, and by the time he realized it was showing his code, somebody had already nabbed it and used it themselves. “Wait, did I just leak my product key?” asked Lengyel. “Oh God. You can’t be serious. Oh God. There’s no way.”

Fortunately, the product key is only used to activate the online and multiplayer portion of the game, meaning that xQc can still play the single player mode.

It may teach the Canadian a valuable lesson for the future though, as he won’t want to lose another game to his viewers in the future.
