Why can’t I see who liked my video on TikTok?

On June 26, TikTok users began reporting that they could no longer see who likes their videos on TikTok, seemingly as a result of some sort of glitch. Here’s everything you need to know.

TikTok is one of the biggest social media platforms out there right now, and millions of users are uploading and browsing new content every day.

When a creator uploads a video, it is common for them to want to see how much engagement it’s getting, and they’re also able to see who has liked their video.

You can usually do this by going to a video you’ve uploaded, clicking on the comments button, and then the likes tab, bringing up a list of users that have liked the video.

TikTok is one of the world’s leading social media platforms.

However, on June 26, some users began reporting that they were no longer able to see who liked their videos using that feature.

“Is anyone else’s TikTok notifs just… not working,” one Twitter user wrote. “Like nothing is showing up in my TikTok notification section. I posted a video and it has 57 likes but it won’t show who liked it.”

“TikTok says I have 26 likes but it’s only showing 9 people that liked it wtf,” said another.

For some, it appears that they are still able to see some of the accounts that liked their post, but it doesn’t match up with the number of likes it has received, whereas others are unable to see any usernames at all.

Unfortunately, the inconsistency of the error indicates that it could be a glitch or other technical issue, however, this hasn’t been confirmed by TikTok.

If you want to ensure that the issue isn’t on your end, you could try deleting and reinstalling the app, turning your device off and on again, and making sure that your app is up to the latest version.

If this doesn’t fix the issue, you may just have to wait for TikTok to fix it before you can see exactly who has liked your videos again.
