TikTok users are going viral by sharing their results for the BetterMe ‘Childhood Trauma Test’ — here’s everything to know about what it is and how to take it for yourself.

People love taking quizzes online, whether that’s to test their knowledge on a certain topic, or to find out more about their personality by answering a series of questions.

There have been several personality quizzes to go viral on short-form video platform TikTok in the past, including the Multidimensional Anger Test and the hugely popular ‘human feeling’ quiz that was popular on the app in June.

The latest test to take the app by storm is the ‘Childhood Trauma Test’ by behavioral healthcare app publisher BetterMe. This test asks users to respond to a series of questions about what their childhood was like, after which it gives you a personal summary of factors that negatively affect your wellbeing.

Users have been garnering hundreds of thousands of views for posting about the test and sharing their results, discussing them with others who took the test in the comments.

How to take the Childhood Trauma Test

If you want to take the test for yourself, you will be able to do so through BetterMe’s website. However, it’s worth noting that you will need to input your email address in order to access your results at the end.

The test will ask you questions such as “do you remember yourself in childhood,” “what childhood memories do you have,” and “how often do you feel stressed?” You will be able to pick from a series of answers beneath each question. There are 18 questions in total, and once you’ve entered your email, you will be able to access the results.

It’s not clear whether there’s any scientific research backing up this test, so don’t take the results too seriously, but TikTok users are enjoying talking about their results as part of this viral trend.
