Valkyrae celebrates becoming “official” voice actor on mystery project

YouTube streamer Valkyrae shocked fans by announcing that she’s become an “official” voice actress, sparking rumors that she’s involved in an upcoming anime.

Valkyrae is a popular streamer signed with YouTube gaming who boasts over 3.5 million subscribers on the video platform.

However, she’s recently branched out into other fields like voice acting, recently lending her voice to a character in Funimation’s Tribe Nine anime earlier this year alongside fellow streamers Corpse Husband and Sykkuno.

It seems as though she’s taken on another voice acting role, as the streamer recently tweeted about making the career choice “official” on Twitter.

“Officially a real voice actress,” she wrote in a post on June 30. “Can’t wait for you all to see the episodes eventually!”

It’s currently unclear what show Rae will be acting in, but fans are seriously excited, nonetheless.

This news comes on the heels of encouragement for Rae to get into voice acting from fellow streamer, voice actress, and musician LilyPichu back in March.

Although at the time it was merely a funny incident, it clearly preceded a big change for Rae, who also recently appeared in an official ad for Fall Guys alongside CouRage.

That’s not all; Rae is even rubbing shoulders with some major acting talent like ‘Stranger Things’ actress Grace Van Dien for a joint live stream.

It’s clear that Rae’s got big things coming in the future, and we can’t wait to see what this mysterious project holds.
