Twitch accidentally promotes NSFW yoga clip in official email

Certain members of the Twitch community received a very interesting channel suggestion in an official email.

The email featured the text “By the community, for the community,” and was filled with links to recommended channels.

The channels had content you would expect from an official Twitch email, including streamers playing popular games like Apex Legends and Fortnite. Oh, there was also a woman doing incredibly suggestive, NSFW yoga.

Shannon Plante, a former Twitch community manager, showed off the strange email she received. “Didn’t expect that in my personal email inbox, Twitch,” said Plante.

One of these clips is not like the others...

“I’m not disputing yoga on Twitch, just weirded tf out that this clip (which obviously was made for one reason only...) made it into an official solicitation email from Twitch,” continued Plante.

Yoga is perfectly acceptable to do on Twitch and can be a great resource for those trying to learn. This particular yoga clip however, well, see for yourself at this link (it is NSFW).

Twitch must have agreed with Plante, because the clip in question was eventually deleted and the channel was banned.

This is not the first time adult content has found its way to a Twitch endorsement. Previously, the official Twitch Food channel featured two women rolling joints on each other’s butts.
