WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and multiple-time world champion Triple H have wished Logan Paul well on his journey as a Superstar.

The news of Logan signing was confirmed on June 30, with the content creator turned boxer inking a multi-year contract with the wrestling giant.

It follows on from the YouTuber-turned-boxer appearing as a guest at WrestleMania 38. It was that night, on April 2, where he “shocked the world” – as Triple H puts it – in his tag-team match with The Miz, defeating The Mysterios on the grandest stage of them all.

Logan’s performance earned the respect of the WWE Universe online, with thousands of positive comments about his in-ring work and charisma.

He will have the ultimate opportunity to prove himself in the squared circle moving forward, now that he is contracted to appear at numerous events across the calendar for the foreseeable.

Triple H & Stephanie McMahon respond

Triple H penned a few kind words for the new Superstar shortly after the announcement.

He said: “I think it’s safe to say @LoganPaul shocked the world with his abilities as a guest at #WrestleMania … just imagine what he’ll do as a @WWE Superstar. Congratulations and welcome!”

His wife, Steph McMahon, also chimed in.

She said: “Welcome to the dance @LoganPaul. Excited to have you as a part of the @WWEUniverse!”

Fans react to Logan WWE deal

As far as announcement tweets go, hitting over 100,000 likes isn’t bad for the influencer.

The responses on social media are fairly mixed, though, in terms of the general public. While many have wished Logan Paul well with his latest move into pro wrestling, others used it as an opportunity to voice concerns.

One fan said: “Congrats, the Mania performance blew my expectations so can’t wait for what’s in store for the future!”

Entrepreneur Cliff Bleszinski tweeted: “I hated this dude for a LONG time but, man, at the end of the day you have to respect his hustle.”

Another tweeted: “Isn’t this the guy that was hugging all over Floyd Mayweather instead of boxing like he was supposed to?”

A third comment reads: “Well this will certainly shake up WWE’s image as a company that no longer cares about Wrestling but instead chases what was hot and popular a decade ago.” Others described it as the best signing in a long time.

Given the nature of his first interview as a WWE Superstar, it is expected that The Miz – a former tag-team partner of his – will be his first opponent.

Will that happen at Summerslam 2022 on July 1? We will just have to wait and see.
