TikToker Ophelia Nichols has appealed for information after her 18-year-old son was shot and killed in Alabama, leading to an outpouring of support from her followers.
On June 25, TikToker Ophelia Nichols a.k.a. shoelover99 uploaded a video to the app in which she informed her seven million followers that her son, Randon, was killed the night prior.
“I have never asked y’all for anything, but I need your help with this. There are almost seven million people that follow me, somebody’s got to know something,” she said.
According to FOX10, the incident happened on St. Stephens Road, in Prichard, Alabama, where 18-year-old Randon was, “shot at the Exxon before driving across the street near the Energizer gas station — where he died from his injuries.”
The TikToker added: “My son was murdered. He was shot. And I have this hatred in my heart that I don’t recognize. Cause I’ve never felt hate for anybody. This individual took my son’s life. He was 18 years old, that’s the best part of somebody’s life.”
