The duo wed in a lavish ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 28 after the Team 10 owner proposed to the YouTube starlet at a nightclub during her 21st birthday celebrations on June 24.

Tana is known to not be afraid to hold back what she thinks, and her latest statement addressed naysayers who claimed that her marriage to Jake and the ring she was given were fake.

Tana claims her ring is real

Tana first showed off her engagement ring during her post-proposal shoot with Jake on July 9, and sceptics were quick to write it off as being fake, claiming that the jewel was ‘cheap’, made of cubic zirconia instead of diamond, and priced at only $125.

People also accused her of using popular photo-editing app Kira Kira to add extra shine to the fake stone to make it appear as though it was real.

Despite the claims, the social media star was given a new rock to celebrate her wedding, and showed it off publicly for the first time in an Instagram story video on August 2.

“*deletes the Kira Kira app*” the caption read as her hand moved to show off the sparkliness of the stone, mocking those that accused her of using the application to manipulate the shine on her previous engagement ring.

Tana’s new jewelry does look higher in quality than the first, so it’s highly possible that it contains an actual, rather large diamond rather than the cubic zirconia that her previous was allegedly made from.

Is Jake and Tana’s marriage fake?

Her July 29 episode of MTV web series ‘Tana Turns 21’ appeared to show the star reveal that the entire marriage was a set up for views.

““Don’t get me wrong, I think a wedding is a very serious thing, but at the same time, I think Jake and I don’t take things very seriously. It’s still something fun and lighthearted that we’re obviously doing for fun and for content.” she said when talking about the ceremony.

Tana addressed the episode with a series of tweets on July 31, and said: “i understand ppls frustration with this sound bite from the show & it’s the last thing i wanna talk about right now but obviously i just uploaded an 8 minute youtube video on how much i love Jake & am not tryna look like that much of a sociopath hahahahahaha”

“i filmed those confessionals for the show A LONG TIME AGO! the “for fun and content” sound bite was from a very long sentence lmao and was a little salty to see it pulled out of context.”

The YouTube couple were first rumored to be dating back in April when Jake called Tana ‘cute’ in a vlog at a party, with their relationship moving swiftly ever since.
