Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar and Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel ended up locked into a battle of words while playing Splitgate: Arena Warfare against each other on May 28, as they both went at each other with some hilarious trash talk.

The popular Twitch streamers have been trying out the new multiplayer first-person shooter, which was developed by 1047 Games and first released on May 24, and has since been showcased by a number of high profile gamers in their livestreams.

However, after xQc’s team came up short in one game by a score of 59-66 to Summit’s, things started to get a bit heated as the latter started to taunt his opponents about the loss.

1047 GamesSplitgate: Arena Warfare has taken Twitch by storm since its May 24 release, and has already featured in a Twitch Rivals tournament.

“You guys play like pussies,” Summit1g said, before xQc and his teammates quickly pounced on the bait. “You camp like a fucking rat, are you kidding me?

Summit responded: “Were you up in that sniper tower jerking yourself off or what?” before CALVIn moved in for the kill. “Shut the fuck up!” he roared, before saying: “What are you going to do, play Fortnite dude? Play Fortnite?”

Former Overwatch pro xQc weighed in with another shot, too. “Take off the voice changer. This isn’t Los Santos, fucking idiot…” he fired back, as Summit1g often uses a voice changer to disguise his identity during his streams, whether that’s playing GTA RP, Sea of Thieves, and clearly Splitgate: Arena Warfare now too.

There was one piece of trash talk that brought together both teams for a few laughs, though, and that final blow came from Summit1g – who claimed he hadn’t seen one of the players on the opposition team in the entire game.

“You got teabagged so many times. Moxy I didn’t even see your ass in the game that’s how many times I saw you,” he said, before both xQc and CALVIn burst into laughter.

Whether or not these streamers will come together and continue playing Splitgate – or any other game for that matter – in the future remains to be seen, but they always pull out some hilarious moments when they cross paths.
