Twitch has come under fire for a slew of issues in the past, including such debacles as livestreamed violence and porn - but one streamer is upset at the site for an entirely different issue.

Popular streamer ‘Erobb’ called out Twitch in a heated tirade on April 26, claiming that the website’s moderators suffer from “double standards” in regards to offenses made by men as opposed to those made by women.

To illustrate his point, Erobb mentioned an instance where his roommate, Dareon, claimed that he wanted to “eat [Pokimane’s] ass on chaturbate” during a stream in early 2018 - which ultimately resulted in a weeklong ban.

In contrast, female Twitch streamer ‘HerVajesty’ offered a straightforward blowjob to World of Warcraft streamer Esfand on April 25, and has seen no action taken against her account.

“That’s fucking horseshit,” Erobb said of the issue. “I’m actually triggered by that. ...a girl says that about a guy, ‘Oh, suck his dick.’ If a guy says that about a girl, ‘I would eat that streamer’s ass,’ banned. That’s so bullshit.”

Twitch's past controversies

This wouldn’t be the first time streamers across Twitch have brought up such a controversy, either; in fact, popular streamer Greekgodx speculated that Alinity Divine hadn’t been banned from the platform due to having “dirt” on one of Twitch’s executives.

Alinity has been a source of contention across the platform for some time, after taking a NSFW selfie during her stream and even showing an accidental “dick pic” during a following broadcast.

These events precede Twitch’s latest debacle, which saw ‘HerVajesty’ propose a sexual tryst toward Esfand - and even claim to know where he lived.

“Hey Esfand, I live down the street from you,” HerVajesty said after encouraging her viewers to clip the stream and send it to him. “It’s really creepy that I know where you live, but I do. If you want me to knock on your door and suck your cock, I will.”

Esfand himself turned down the proposal with a hilarious, World of Warcraft-themed joke - but that isn’t stopping commenters and critics from taking issue with Twitch’s treatment of the matter.
