Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris was just handed his second Twitch ban, as the popular streamer had his account taken offline with a surprise April 13 suspension.

While Sodapoppin is one of the biggest personalities on Twitch today, often streaming the latest games and reacting to various drama in the space, he’s now been booted from the platform for the second time.

Sodapoppin’s account was hit offline with a mysterious ban on Wednesday, April 13.

At the time of writing, the reason for the ban is not confirmed.

Although nothing has yet been confirmed, initial speculation from fans online points towards a recent clip from April 9 as the leading cause of his ban.

During the controversial clip, Soda was applying makeup to a generic face in a video game, saying “blackface” as he did.

While this could no doubt void the Twitch terms of service, there’s no guarantee this particular moment is what led to an eventual ban. Sodapoppin explained and apologized for the incident after it gained attention on Reddit.

Sodapoppin apology

Soda was first previously from Twitch in July 2020. Though this suspension was quickly overturned just 24 hours later, and he offered a hilarious apology video that went viral.

Without an official explanation for his latest ban, there’s no telling how long this one may last.

The streamer is yet to address his ban on social media.
