Popular Twitch streamer ‘ItsSlikeR’ has revealed that he was issued with a warning from the platform’s moderation team for displaying prohibited content on stream.

SlikeR has built a large following of over 180,000 followers on Twitch, best known for his IRL streams as well as guest appearances on the RajjPatel show.

The streamer has notoriously had his struggles with Twitch in the past, as he is one of the largest streamers not to have received a partnership with the livestreaming site.

Unfortunately for SlikeR, it does not seem as if his pursuit of a partnership is going any better, after he posted an email from Twitch to his Instagram story on December 26.

The British streamer revealed that he has been issued with a warning from Twitch regarding content in one of his latest streams.

“Based on a review of your activity, we have issued a Community Guidelines warning on your account. Another offense may result in suspension.” read the email from Twitch.

It also explained that the reason for SlikeR’s warning was due to him accidentally displaying brief nudity or sexual content on his stream.

Although the exact clip of the in question has yet to be clarified, some have suggested that it may have been while SlikeR was reacting to a clip of xQc.

If this is the case, many have begun to suspect that xQc may also have received a warning on his account, although he has not disclosed it. Twitch does not comment on community guideline violations to respect the privacy of users.

SlikeR later reacted to his warning from the Amazon-owned broadcasting platform, expressing that he was relieved to have only received a warning from Twitch.

“Listen I know that Twitch could have banned me but they gave me a warning I respect that completely,” he shared, refusing to talk negatively of the platform despite being issued a warning, “so I’m not throwing shade at Twitch, I don’t want to cause beef, I’m not a drama king. I respect Twitch for what they have done.”

SlikeR’s pursuit of a partnership on the platform looks like it will continue on into 2020, as he remains unclear on why a channel of his popularity has not yet been granted the partner checkmark.
