Shroud Says No Twitch Streamer Will Get Bigger than Ninja - "I don't think anyone will ever pass him"

Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins quickly rocketed to become the most popular streamer on the site over the past six months, and fellow streamer Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek thinks he will never be overtaken.

Ninja's rise to stardom obviously coincided with the parallel rise in battle royale game Fortnite, which has quickly become the number one game on the Amazon owned platform.

Shroud himself held the number one mantle previously, following his retirement from professional CS:GO when he garnered a massive following playing PUBG, a rival battle royale game.

But his success, and everyone else's on Twitch for that matter, has been dwarfed by Ninja, who now has over 7 million followers and 200,000 paying subscribers.

And when a viewer asked Shroud if he thinks he could ever surpass Ninja himself, Shroud made clear that he thinks no one will.

"I don't think anyone in the Twitch world will ever pass him, at this point.

He definitely deserves it, like he does such a great job at everything - not just playing - but everything else.

His social game, his YouTube game - he's a robot, I don't understand."

And he goes on, explaining that there is a reason for Ninja's unparalleled success, and it comes down to his dedication and networking abilities.

"He's networking, he's posting on social like so many times a day, he's playing two times a day, it's insane dude. I don't know how that man does it.

The reason I don't think anyone is ever going to be as big as him, is because he is doing everything right. And it's really hard to do everything right. It's a lot of work.

This dude is literally flying to Texas for a day, networks the shit out of it, posts on social about it, posts pictures about it.

I could never do that, it's insane. He is the most dedicated, hard working Twitch streamer I think I've ever seen, and there's a reason why he's on top. Because of all that, it's crazy. It's wild."

Shroud is of course a massive name on Twitch in his own right, but mixes his playing time between PUBG, Fortnite and many other games.

Other streamers who dedicate themselves purely to Fortnite have seen similar levels of growth to Ninja, such as Dr Lupo or TSM Myth, but none have come close to his numbers.
