YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has given his thoughts on the ProJared situation, after his fellow YouTuber was accused of infidelity and sexually soliciting fans.

The accusations against Jared surfaced after his wife, Heidi O’Ferrall, posted a series of tweets in which she denounced her husband for infidelity. O’Ferrall documented ProJared’s alleged illicit interactions with some fans, which included – and was not limited to – receiving and sending nude images via a SnapChat account and Tumblr page, even some from minors.

The Tumblr page had originally been created to be a “body-positive space for consenting adults,” according to O’Ferrall. Since then, one fan has spoken up claiming to have been underage when she shared the photos. Now though, the King of YouTube has given his thoughts, in a video simply entitled ‘Projared is a Gamer’.

Instagram: ProJaredJared posted in celebration of April last year, after his main channel hit 1,000,000 subscribers. It has since lost over 150,000.

PewDiePie first reacted to the news on stream, stating that “there is nothing funny about a man ruining his marriage”. He also said that he doesn’t understand why anyone would exchange nudes with their fans, before saying that the memes are really funny.

He made these into a typical ‘Meme Review’ video, starting with a parody acronym on screen, mocking Jared’s infidelity.

“It devastated me, it shook me to my core; ProJared cheated on his wife. What the frick dude?” This sarcastic attitude just about sets the tone for his video, as he goes on to explain that “what’s important, is the memes”.

The memes involve Jared offering a final rating of “a broken marriage out of 10” in a past game review, before Kjellberg analyzes Jared’s YouTube channel, which lost over 100,000 subscribers in just one day. Despite previously hitting the 1,000,000 subscriber mark, this incredible loss has caused his total sub count to fall to under 850,000.

PewDiePie goes on to explain that he did actually watch ProJared’s YouTube channel “back in the day”, and thinks that his videos “aren’t bad”. The video then takes a turn away from Jared, as PewDiePie analyzes parody Sonic the Hedgehog reskins, after his own attempt at a redesign received a £10 million bid on eBay.

ProJared has also been dropped by his partner network NormalBoots, who had been investigating prior allegations about the YouTuber as early as April 4. At the time of writing, Jared has not responded to any of the allegations he is facing.
