Hugely popular streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has revealed his annoyance with people constantly searching for the next star on Twitch.

Ninja has become a household name after streaming with celebrities like Drake and Travis Scott, appearing on talk shows and magazine covers.

However, reports have suggested that the 27-year-old is no longer the number one on Twitch for subscribers. Jaryd ‘Summit1G’ Lazar was named as the top Twitch streamer on January 15.

Ninja has appeared on multiple talk shows over the last few months.

While Ninja maintains that he still has the lead, he admitted that he is frustrated that many people are more interested in who will be the next streamer to reach the top.

Responding to a comment in his chat, Ninja said: “The only thing that is frustrating is that when you were the number one streamer – and still are, [both for] followers and when I’m actually streaming full-time – everyone is just out to look for the next guy now. At least, streaming wise. It’s really annoying.”

Following this comment, Ninja left his stream to get a drink.

It’s not the first time that Ninja has spoken about his concerns over being the top Twitch streamer. Back in September, during an interview with ESPN The Magazine, Ninja revealed his anxiety about not being number one Twitch steamer. However, this usually comes about when he’s not playing Fortnite in front of his fans.

“When I’m not streaming, I have time to reflect on all the growth, and I don’t like that,” he said.
